A pocketful of stars
My father kept an old pair of binoculars by the back door. They were scratched, slightly misaligned, and perfect. Through them I learned that a star field is never empty.

I still carry that lesson. Every dark patch contains a direction, a story, or a light that simply has not reached us yet.
